This Legal Notice applies to products, accessories, instructional materials, digital content, programs, and other services offered under the Lumii brand by ALR Lumii Group LLC (“Lumii,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

Please read this notice carefully before purchasing, assembling, installing, or using any Lumii product.

FITNESS AND EXERCISE RISK

Pilates reformers and other exercise equipment involve inherent risks associated with physical activity, including loss of balance, falls, muscle strains, joint injuries, pinching, crushing, entanglement, impact injuries, and other bodily injury.

Participation in any exercise program is voluntary.

Users are responsible for using reasonable judgment, following product instructions, and exercising within their individual abilities and limitations.

Nothing contained on our website, social-media accounts, advertisements, instructional materials, videos, programs, emails, or other communications guarantees any particular physical, health, fitness, aesthetic, rehabilitation, or performance result.

NOT MEDICAL ADVICE

Lumii does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, physical therapy, rehabilitation, or other licensed healthcare services.

Information provided by Lumii concerning fitness, movement, Pilates, exercise, wellness, or physical performance is provided for general educational and informational purposes only.

Such information should not be treated as a substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare professional.

Individuals with an existing medical condition, injury, disability, pregnancy, recent surgery, unexplained pain, cardiovascular condition, balance issue, or other concern affecting their ability to exercise should obtain appropriate professional guidance before beginning or modifying an exercise program.

If you experience chest pain, dizziness, severe pain, loss of consciousness, difficulty breathing, or another potentially serious medical symptom while exercising, stop using the product and seek appropriate medical assistance.

PROPER USE OF EQUIPMENT

Lumii products should be used only for their intended purpose and in accordance with the instructions, warnings, specifications, and limitations provided with the product or made available by Lumii.

Before each use, users should inspect the equipment and its components for visible damage, excessive wear, loose hardware, damaged ropes or straps, improperly secured components, cracks, instability, unusual movement, or other conditions that could affect safe operation.

Do not use a product that appears damaged, unstable, improperly assembled, or unsafe.

Immediately discontinue use if equipment begins behaving unexpectedly or develops unusual movement, sounds, resistance, instability, or other indications of a possible malfunction.

ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION

Customers are responsible for following all applicable assembly, setup, installation, adjustment, maintenance, and operating instructions supplied with their product.

Certain Lumii products may arrive substantially or partially assembled but may still require customer setup, adjustment, inspection, or installation of components before first use.

Before using the equipment, customers should confirm that all required components are correctly installed, secure, and functioning as intended.

Lumii is not responsible for injury or property damage caused solely by improper assembly, installation, modification, maintenance, storage, or use by the customer or another person, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.

SAFE USE AREA

Exercise equipment should be placed on an appropriate, level, stable surface with sufficient clearance around moving parts and the user's body.

Customers are responsible for determining whether their intended use location is suitable for the product, including consideration of available space, flooring, nearby objects, structural conditions, and safe access.

Moving components may create pinch, crush, impact, or entanglement hazards.

Keep fingers, hands, hair, loose clothing, jewelry, and other objects away from moving components while equipment is in use.

CHILDREN AND PETS

Lumii Pilates reformers and exercise equipment are not toys.

Children and pets should not be permitted to play on, underneath, around, or with the equipment.

Children should not operate Lumii exercise equipment without appropriate supervision and without first determining that such use is suitable for the particular product and user.

Customers are responsible for securing exercise equipment when not in use where necessary to reduce unauthorized or unintended use.

PRODUCT LIMITS AND SPECIFICATIONS

Customers must follow all product-specific limitations, including applicable user-weight limits, adjustment ranges, resistance specifications, dimensions, clearance requirements, and other operating restrictions supplied by Lumii.

Do not exceed a stated product limitation.

Product specifications may vary between models or product revisions. The specifications applicable to your particular product should control.

MODIFICATIONS AND THIRD-PARTY COMPONENTS

Do not make modifications that compromise the structural integrity or safe operation of a Lumii product.

Lumii is not responsible for damage or injury to the extent directly caused by an unsafe modification, incompatible component, or improper repair performed after delivery.

Nothing in this section is intended to require customers to purchase Lumii-branded replacement parts or services as a condition of warranty coverage where such a requirement would violate applicable law.

Use of a third-party part or service does not, by itself, automatically void applicable warranty rights. However, damage actually caused by an incompatible part, improper modification, or improper service may not be covered to the extent permitted by law.

NORMAL WEAR AND MAINTENANCE

Exercise equipment contains components that may experience normal wear over time.

Customers should perform reasonable inspections and maintenance in accordance with instructions supplied with the product.

Components showing significant wear, damage, deterioration, or abnormal operation should not continue to be used until the issue has been appropriately evaluated or corrected.

Failure to perform reasonable maintenance may increase the risk of equipment malfunction or personal injury.

EDUCATIONAL AND INSTRUCTIONAL CONTENT

Lumii may provide exercise routines, guided programs, demonstrations, videos, written instructions, social-media content, or other educational materials.

These materials are intended to demonstrate general uses of our products and are not individualized recommendations.

Not every movement, resistance level, exercise, position, or program is appropriate for every individual.

Users should exercise within their abilities and stop any movement that causes unusual or significant pain, dizziness, instability, or other concerning symptoms.

RESULTS DISCLAIMER

Individual fitness results vary.

Lumii does not guarantee weight loss, muscle gain, increased flexibility, pain relief, rehabilitation, improved posture, improved appearance, or any other specific health or fitness outcome.

Statements describing potential product or exercise benefits are not guarantees that every customer will experience the same result.

Customer testimonials, reviews, photographs, videos, or other individual experiences represent the experiences of those particular individuals and should not be interpreted as guarantees of typical or identical results.

PRODUCT IMAGES AND APPEARANCE

Product photographs, videos, renders, digital representations, and promotional materials are intended to provide a reasonable representation of our products.

Natural materials, including wood, may contain variations in grain, texture, shade, pattern, or appearance.

Colors and finishes may also appear differently depending upon lighting, photography, display settings, and device characteristics.

Reasonable cosmetic variations do not necessarily indicate that a product is defective.

THIRD-PARTY MANUFACTURING AND FULFILLMENT

Lumii may work with manufacturers, distributors, warehouses, logistics providers, carriers, and fulfillment partners in connection with its products.

A product or shipment may therefore contain packaging, labels, documentation, components, identifiers, or other materials associated with an authorized manufacturing, distribution, or fulfillment partner.

Such branding does not necessarily mean that the customer purchased the product from that partner.

For purchases made directly through Lumii, customers should contact Lumii regarding their order unless instructed otherwise.

PRODUCT CHANGES

Lumii may update product designs, materials, manufacturing processes, packaging, components, specifications, or features over time.

Minor differences between products manufactured at different times do not necessarily constitute defects, provided the product substantially conforms to the applicable description and legal requirements.

DAMAGE TO PROPERTY

Exercise equipment can be heavy and may affect flooring, walls, surrounding furniture, or other property if improperly moved, installed, stored, or used.

Customers are responsible for using reasonable precautions to protect their property and determine whether additional flooring protection, clearance, assistance, or other safeguards are appropriate.

Lumii is not responsible for property damage caused solely by improper placement, dragging, moving, assembly, storage, or misuse of the equipment, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

MOVING HEAVY PRODUCTS

Certain Lumii products may be heavy or bulky.

Do not attempt to lift, carry, move, rotate, or reposition a product if doing so would be unsafe.

Use appropriate assistance or equipment when necessary.

Customers are responsible for evaluating whether they can safely move or handle a product before attempting to do so.

COMMERCIAL USE

Unless a product is expressly marketed or approved by Lumii for commercial or institutional use, Lumii consumer products are intended primarily for personal and household use.

Use in fitness studios, gyms, rehabilitation facilities, hotels, rental businesses, training facilities, or other high-frequency commercial environments may create different maintenance and operating requirements.

Customers intending to use a product commercially should contact Lumii regarding appropriate product specifications and applicable warranty terms.

SAFETY NOTICES, CORRECTIVE ACTIONS, AND RECALLS

Customer safety is important to Lumii.

If Lumii identifies a safety issue affecting a product, we may provide safety instructions, inspection procedures, replacement components, repair instructions, usage restrictions, corrective actions, or recall information as appropriate.

Customers should promptly follow safety notices applicable to their products.

Lumii may contact customers using information associated with their order where necessary to communicate important product-safety information.

Customers should immediately discontinue use of a product if Lumii specifically instructs them to do so because of a potential safety concern.

REPORTING SAFETY ISSUES

Customers are encouraged to promptly report suspected product defects, malfunctions, injuries, or safety concerns to:

Please provide your order number, product information, photographs or videos when available, and a description of the incident or concern.

Do not dispose of a product or affected component involved in a serious safety incident unless instructed to do so or unless retaining it would itself create an unreasonable safety risk.

NO WAIVER OF NON-WAIVABLE RIGHTS

Nothing contained in this Legal Notice, our Terms of Service, warranty, Return & Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, or any other Lumii policy is intended to exclude, restrict, or waive a right, warranty, remedy, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or waived.

Customers may possess additional rights under federal, state, local, provincial, national, or other applicable consumer-protection laws.

Where applicable law conflicts with a provision of a Lumii policy, applicable law will control to the extent required.

LIMITATION OF THIS NOTICE

Safety warnings and legal notices cannot describe every conceivable risk associated with owning or using exercise equipment.

Customers remain responsible for exercising reasonable care, reading the instructions supplied with their products, maintaining their equipment, and using products in a reasonable manner consistent with their intended purpose.

This Legal Notice should be read together with Lumii's Terms of Service, Return & Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, product-specific instructions, warnings, and any applicable written warranty.
